Chad's sister Stacey and her family came up to Utah to visit with the in-laws and they made time to spend an evening with us in SLC. We met up at Temple Square and toured the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Then we drove over to the Gateway Mall and had dinner and walked around. We visited the bookstore and played in the Olympic Fountain. Then we got ice cream at Ben and Jerry's. Yummy! Thanks for the visit Stacey and Hannah and Claire!!
We had a few minutes to wait for Stacey and Co. so we looked around the visitors center:

They had a relatively new exhibit showing a cross section of the SLC temple in miniture.
The JSMB:
We asked for a quick tour of the building and got one! It was about 10 minutes and very interesting. The guide showed us this picture of the chapel when it was a ball room.
