MUSE

Last night (Monday April 5th) Chad and I went to see MUSE in concert!!

 It RAWKD!!

The opening band was Americans Hold Out Jelly roll... oh, Chad says they're called the Silver Sun Pickups. Chad likes them (I don't ) but they did good live. Sorry the pictures are small and blurry...all we brought were our cell phones.

The 'skyscrapers' were there for the opening act and then when Muse came on they lit up and then dropped to reveal the band.

They had huge balloons filled with confetti to drop near the end:

The rest of these are in no particular order except for the last one...it is the end of the show.

The stages lifted and lowered and spun in circles. I alternated earplugs from one ear to the other but by the end they were both gone. It was LOUD!!! We had alot of fun. I did get some video with my phone but it's so loud you can't make out the music.

The drive back however was not. We had a statewide winter storm warning in effect and by the time we left the ECenter there were 3 inches of snow on the ground, so driving home took almost 2 hours instead of 1.  As of right now there are 4-6 inches outside.

Sigh.....
