Memorial Day and the Last Day of School

This year for Memorial Day we decided to take our bikes and go riding! Grey had a hard time letting go of his training wheels in the past. In the picture above they had been raised. That day he just decided he knew how to ride and he did! Here's Chad removing the training wheels.

His first ride sans training wheels:

Lance has a hard time pushing a bike around cause he's so little.

Erin just zooms...

That afternoon (back at home) Erin wanted to go outside and take pictures. Her dad said she could only take pictures of the flowers in our yard and not to go over the back fence. She listened for a while.

Notice her yellow shoes and her pink and red striped socks:

Then she decided to share 'her' camera with the kids OVER the fence.

It's such a shame that the camera had incriminating evidence on it.

Today (Thursday) was the last unofficial day of school. I'm not making them go on Friday as it's only a half day. Anywho...today the school had a firetruck come out and hose the kids down. It was so funny to watch!

Here's Lance's class running out for their turn under the spray. Lance is wearing a yellow/orange shirt with navy pants.

Grey's class had already gone by the time I got there and they were playing water relay races on the other side of the field. Grey has on a white shirt and navy pants.

They walked home as conquering heros!
