Since the Fourth of July fell on a Sunday this year, each of the towns nearby chose a day to celebrate and set off their fireworks. Brigham City picked Monday for their show. We went down to the park at about 7:30 (an hour and a half before sunset).
In our almost four years here we had never gone to the 4th of July fireworks display! Next year we'll bring more blankets, pillows, chairs, food and drinks. And some light jackets...it was cool.
The kids played with some kids from our neighborhood and got to run around a bit.
It was more or less dark by 9:30 and at 10p.m. they let loose!
It was fantastic!! And we were so close to the start point we would get hit with shrapnel on occasion!
Way too fun and we can't wait for next year!!
